About This Product

Givenvitar Silver Cosplay Contact Lenses

Dark red hair past the shoulders. Black lash makeup, thick and deliberate, drawn out at the corners. A convention hall, a costume build, and then the eyes that bring the character into the room. Givenvitar Silver is made for that moment.

Indigo With a Violet Floor

Indigo sits between blue and violet, and that is the ground this lens occupies. A saturated indigo runs through the body of the iris, then drops into a deep violet rim at the outer edge. Under cool convention light it reads blue; under warm tungsten the violet comes up. The pigment is balanced: dense enough to hold in daylight, fine enough that the fibre still shows through.

The Pale Cyan Ring

At the centre, a pale cyan ring circles the pupil, thin and cool, almost mint against the indigo. The middle stays clear, so your own iris supplies the colour right at the opening. A clear centre keeps your own eye in the detail, with the printed ring sitting around it. Move closer and the fibre shows: soft radial strands, tight near the middle, looser as they travel out. Real irises are built that way, and a lens that copies the spacing reads as an eye from any distance.

A Rim That Fades Softly

The outer edge feathers gently, which is why the lens sits inside your face and carries the character with it. Both lenses come off one pattern, so the cyan ring sits at the same height on each side. For a dark blue headband this is the pairing I keep returning to: the headband holds the blue, the lens carries it into the face, and the violet adds depth. In flash it is the violet rim that comes through.

Eight Hours and One Blink

The first ten minutes felt smooth and easy: comfortable at the lid and fresh at the corners. I wore them through a slow build, wig pinned and lashes glued and headband adjusted twice, then four hours on the floor. Late afternoon, after a firm blink, they still felt settled. Blink a few times and let the lens warm; the edge settles into place. First pair? Practise the insert the night before, with time and a mirror.

The review we hear most

"I have shot a lot of characters with deep, dramatic eyes, and this lens gives me the detail I want in every frame. The violet edge held through a full convention day. My photographer zoomed to 200% and nodded, which from him is a standing ovation. The clear centre is the detail I did not know I needed."
