About This Product
Gonzo Kagemori Cosplay Contact Lenses
Short fair hair with jagged bangs. A dark high-collared top. Then the wide brown eyes that hold a room without trying. I have built enough characters to know the hair and collar take an afternoon; the eyes are the part I plan first.
The warm amber centre inside a dark rim
The brown is deep chestnut across the field, with a warm amber ring sitting right around the pupil and a dark brown rim closing the outer edge. The centre stays open and warm; the rim keeps that warmth inside the iris. Pigment density is mid-to-firm: enough to hold the chestnut in flat indoor conditions, fine enough that the fibre still shows through.
This lens uses a deep chestnut brown field with a warm amber inner ring around the pupil and a dark brown outer rim. The pupil edge is soft, and the outer rim feathers into the lash line.
Iris strands, soft pupil, feathered edge
Move close and the iris has structure: thin radial strands, tighter near the pupil, looser toward the rim, with a few lighter fibres catching the chestnut. The pupil edge stays soft, so the amber ring reads as a warm opening rather than a printed circle. The outer edge feathers instead of cutting a hard circle, settling into the lash line.
That softness is the part I care about most. A wide, direct stare needs an eye that feels open, and the amber core gives that stare a bright middle without losing the dark brown rim around it.
A matched pair and a long-wear feel
Both lenses come from one pattern, so the amber ring sits at the same height on each eye. That matters when you are holding a straight, wide stare. I have worn pairs where one side ran half a shade warmer and only found it hours later. This pair keeps the centre matched.
On the first insert I felt a small awareness at the lid. Ten minutes later it was gone. I wore them through wig taping, a high collar that needed adjusting, a slow queue, and a long lunch. Late in the day the corners asked for a blink, and two blinks reset them. First pair? Insert them the night before.
On camera
One close-up and one portrait, with flash, cover the range. The amber core catches a small bright point just off the pupil, and the dark rim keeps the eye shape clean.
The review we hear most
"I collect brown lenses because brown is the colour I chase most. The amber centre is the only one I have found that stays visible without turning into a costume prop. My editor looked at the finished look and asked what I had changed about my eyes."

Why CCUS Eyewear
CCUS Eyewear builds cosplay contact lenses for the hall, the stage, and the long day between. Every pair is checked for left-right pattern match before it ships. We describe colour the way it behaves on an eye — core, field, rim — so you know what lands before it arrives. If the brown reads differently than you pictured, tell us.
Clean, dry hands, case when they're out, and follow the care guidance that comes with your pair.
