About This Product

Hidari Cosplay Contact Lenses

Long white hair pulled back with red ribbons. A dark collar high at the throat. She fills a doorway before she speaks. Then you reach the eyes: cool slate blue, with something bright holding the middle of them.

Where the Blue Actually Lives

My honest worry was this: grey-blue can flatten. One even wash of pale blue and the eye reads as a single sheet. So this pair is built in two layers. A pale sky-blue centre ring, close to winter sky at the horizon, sits inside a slate blue outer rim that runs cooler and a touch heavier. That step gives the iris depth before you reach texture, and it keeps the colour cool instead of drifting pale.

Pigment density runs mid-weight. Dense enough that the blue keeps its identity in dull indoor rooms, fine enough that your own fibre detail still shows through.

Iris Fibre and a Soft Centre

Move in and there is grain. Fine radial strands run outward, tighter near the middle, opening toward the rim, the way a real iris is built. They sit at slightly different depths, so they catch the room differently.

The middle stays open. Your own iris supplies the centre and the pale sky-blue ring sits around it rather than stamping a dot there. The pupil edge is soft too, feathered rather than cut. She holds a still, level expression, and a soft pupil lets that stay quiet instead of tipping into a mask.

Both Eyes From One Pattern

Each pair comes off a single pattern, so the sky-blue ring sits at the same height on both sides and the slate rim falls to the same depth. I have worn pairs where one side ran half a shade lighter and only spotted it hours later. This one matched out of the box.

The outer rim feathers down rather than closing in a circle. Her colour eases into your own at the boundary, so the lens disappears there and leaves only the cool grey-blue.

Ten Hours In

First insertion felt like nothing. No scratch under the lid, no grit at the corner. I wore them through a wig fitting and a long day on my feet, and the only thing I noticed late on was a little dryness that one drop fixed. Blink a few times; the edge settles as it warms. The hair and collar take twenty minutes. The lenses take two.

One Quick Test

Flash is the test I was nervous about. The sky-blue centre picks up the highlight and the slate rim keeps the iris shape intact. My worry was the centre going white in a close-up. It brightened instead.

The review we hear most

"I have built thirty characters and I am picky about eyes. First pair where the pale centre held its colour in bright conditions and the rim kept its depth. A friend zoomed in on the file and said nothing. From him that is a rave. Second pair ordered."

Why CCUS Eyewear

CCUS Eyewear builds cosplay contact lenses around the character, not around a colour chart. Every pair is checked for left-right pattern match before it ships. We describe colour the way it behaves, centre, rim, falloff, so you know what lands on your eye before it arrives. If the tone reads differently, tell us.

Clean, dry hands, case when they're out, and follow the care guidance that comes with your pair.

How to Use

  • •Clean and dry hands before handling
